2. Hadrian’s Wall,Northumberland

Get lost in the English countryside and take in the wonder of Hadrian’s Wall during your road trip across the country. 

Built by the Romans nearly 2000 years ago, this wall stretches 73 miles from the River Tyne near Newcastle to the Solway Firth on the west coast (it’s no small monument to take in!)
